We are looking for STNA's that want to make a difference in the lives of the elderly.


Graduate of a accredited high school or GED.

Must posess an active State Nursing Assistant Certification:

Having successfully completed a State approved training program and necessary examination.

If recent graduate of Certified Nurse Aide training class, must provide certificate.

Must be in good physical and mental health. 

Must pass a required drug test, physical and BCI.

Ability to work independently or part of a group.

Effectively communicate with others, have an upbeat, positive attitude and love caring for the elderly.

Experience with PointClick Care, preferred but not required.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs range of motion for upper and lower extremities on designated residents per plan of care.
  • Ambulates designated residents with walker or cane (of some type) per plan of care.
  • Performs transfers of designated residents per plan of care.
  • Assists with feeding/dining room organization.
  • Encourages mild geriatric exercises individually or in a group setting.
  • Follows recommendations as given by therapists to preserve/enhance residents'

functional ability.

  • Participates in ensuring splinting devices are being applied as per physician's
  • order.
  • Record keeping/documentation to include:
  • Resident's specific program.
  • Dates of services performed.
  • Who performed the services.
  • Length of services (i.e., specific number of minutes).
  • Resident response to services.
  • Other Job Functions:
  • Assist with activities of daily living (i.e., personal hygiene, dressing and
  • bathing) for designated residents as per plan of care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing and/or Assistant Director
  • Nursing.

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

  • Ability to read and write in English, ability to communicate with residents,
  • families, personnel and support agencies and ability to remain calm under stress.
  • Bending, lifting, walking, grasping, fine hand coordination, ability to distinguish
  • smells, tastes and temperatures, ability to hear and respond to pages.
